No, David! books have always been a big hit in our house.

I loved this imagining of Shakespeare’s family life in Stratford and the death of his only son. This book may have the greatest appeal to English majors, but it also captured the feelings of raw grief so realistically. Loved this book.

Still Me

I read all three books in this trilogy: Me Before You, After You, and Still Me. I had a hard time getting into Me Before You, but after I connected with the story, I was hooked. The author developed Louisa in interesting and believable ways. The themes throughout the trilogy were touching and pertinent to struggles many women face. Not a typical happy ending romance novel. It was much more complex and left you suspenseful about just how Louisa's life would turn out in the end!

Scorpion Mountain continues the adventures of the Heron brotherband during their time as the Araluen duty ship. Hal continues to invent interesting things that aid in their adventures. The characters continue to become more real, each with their own stories and relationships. Ingvar and Lydia both have development happen. Overall, a good book with interesting characters and fun adventures.
